Background
Gegar Television was a television studio most likely owned by Colombian television personality German Garcia y Garcia after he left Punch in 1973.
1st Logo (1980-1987)
Visuals: We see a colorful neon outline of an owl, moving around a bit in its place. "GERMAN GARCIA Y GARCIA" appears below this, as well as "GEGAR TELEVISION" in a larger font.
Technique: Possibly early computer animation.
Audio: A happy-sounding theme with an announcer.
2nd Logo (1987-1990)
Visuals: A redesigned image of the owl before, along with text below "Gegar", which flashes, is seen. German Garcia y Garcia is written below this.
Technique: Cel animation.
Audio: A short drum-based fanfare.
Legacy: You may not like the slightly weird look of the owl, but otherwise this logo is pretty clean.
3rd Logo (1990-1991)
Visuals: The same owl from before is seen (but more vividly colored). Lasers shoot out of its eyes, and the owl flashes. GERMAN GARCIA Y GARCIA is written below in a italic green font.
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: A dark synth note held throughout which slowly turns into an ascending sounder. An announcer plays over this.
