Nickname: "Flipping GED"

Logo: On a sunset-looking background with a tile floor on the bottom and "GED" in an ugly font, the words "General Educational Development" appear in flipping motion under the letters.

FX/SFX: The "General Educational Development" flipping.

Music/Sounds: A chime tune.

Availability: Extinct, the programs of the GED series that had this logo was replaced with the one below.

(1990)

Nickname: "The Shimmering BG"

Logo: On a background with blue lines, we see "GED" in a font used in sports' shirts. Under it is "General Educational Development". The background "shimmers".

FX/SFX: The background "shimmering".

Music/Sounds: Same as 1st logo.

Availability: Seen on the GED series.
