Background

Gold Circle Films is an American independent film production company, mainly focusing on horror and romance films, founded in 2000.

Nicknames: "Zooming Ring", "Gold Ring"

Logo: On a black background, we see a golden ring with the words "Gold Circle Films" underneath it zoom in. The logo shines and its animation loops until it fades out.

FX/SFX: The zooming in and the shining.

Music/Sounds: Usually silent, or the opening theme of the film.

Music/Sounds Variant: On U.S prints of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, it uses a high pitched PAL speed version of the 1998 Lions Gate Films fanfare.

Availability: Seen on films produced by this company such as The Man From Elysian Fields, The Badge, Sonny, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Wedding Date, White Noise 1 & 2, Because I Said So, Pitch Perfect 1, 2, and 3, Griffin & Phoenix, New in Town, among others. Some of their produced films, such as Life As We Know It, do not use this logo.
