Background

Gosteleradiofond (The State Television and Radio Fund) is a Russian fund which specialises in archiving of film and video materials, sound recordings and photographic materials produced before 1999. In 2014, the fund became a subsidiary of VGTRK.

1990s-2000s

Logo: On the night sky-like background, we see the text appearing:

Then the rainbow stripes flying out and forming the logo (later, it used the new logo used formerly on screen). The text disappears, and the logo turns 3D. The logo becomes outlined shortly after.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: A synth descending tune followed by 2 synth notes.

Availablity: Seen on some 90s-2000s VHS and TV prints of selected Soviet movies that were archived in this fund.
