Background
Founded in the 20th century, this government-funded film company is currently managed by the Department of Government Information of Sri Lanka.
(2005)
Logo: We see superimposed footage of CGI filmreels and filmstrips and closeups of machines used for film production and editing. A film camera then faces into the screen, and once we focus on the lens, the text "GFU", followed by the Sinhala and Tamil translations of the name, zooms into the screen. The footage then fades out.
Technique: A mix of CGI, 2D and live-action.
Music/Sounds: A horn and flute fanfare.
Availability: Seen on Dama Rama Pela.
