1st Logo (1964-1969)

Logo: Same as the 1964 ident.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Extinct; appears on Will Ye No Come Back Again?.

2nd Logo (1969-1981)

Logo: A still version of the 1969 ident.

Variants:

  • A black and white variant exists.
  • A Gaelic version exists, replacing "COLOUR" with "DATH".
  • On The Haggis Half Hour, the logo is paired with the Guild of Television Cameramen logo.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Extremely rare.

  • It was seen on original Grampian programmes from this period such as The Entertainers, Andy's Party, One Over the Party, among many others.

Logo: Like before, it is a still version of the 1982 ident but with a copyright stamp added underneath.

Variants:

  • Later on, when the 1982 ident was updated with more shading, so did this logo.
  • Sometimes, the company name would be replaced with text reading "A GRAMPIAN PRODUCTION FOR" and the 1989 ITV logo below.
  • A superimposed variant exists.
  • Another variant had the words "A GRAMPIAN PRODUCTION FOR CHANNEL FOUR".
  • On A Guid New Year, the logo appears alongside the 1989 Scottish Television logo with the words "A GRAMPIAN TELEVISION/SCOTTISH TELEVISION PRODUCTION FOR", with the 1989 ITV logo underneath with a copyright notice below.
  • On Breakthrough, the Scottish flag symbol is within a box and paired with the TSW logo while against a white-cyan background containing the text "A Grampian/TSW Co-Production".
