Background

Granada Kids (formerly Granada Media Children's) was a subsidiary of Granada Media Group to produce children's shows.

Granada Media Children's

(1999-2002?)

Logo: On a majorelle yellow background, we see a Granada Media G symbol in purple/blue on a yellow circle, with "GRANADA MEDIA CHILDREN'S" below in blue.

Variants:

  • The circle would sometimes be stretched, making a capsule, with purple/blue half on the right and many different ITV region logos on the blue/purple piece in yellow (Yorkshire, Meridian, Granada, LWT, etc.)
  • On Sooty Heights, the capsule swapped colours with Sooty Films Productions logo on the purple/blue piece, with "A SOOTY FILMS PRODUCTION FOR GRANADA MEDIA CHILDREN'S".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the program or none.

Availability: Seen on shows by the company, such as My Parents Are Aliens and Sooty.

Granada Kids

(2001-2006)

Logo: On a purple background, we see the stylized image of a weird shape. Behind the weird shape is the word "kids" in purple, and above that is the word "granada" also in purple. It has a grunge look to it. Above it is the word "A" and below it is the word "PRODUCTION". The copyright notice is shown below.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen at the end of Granada Kids programmes of the era.
