Background
Great British Films was an independent film production company.
Background/Trivia
The company shared the same headquarters as Spice Factory; third floor on 113 Hanover House in Brighton.
1st Logo (2001-2004)
Logo: We fade in to a vault floating above a marble floor illuminated by a spotlight. The crank on the vault turns until the door is unlocked and opens, revealing a spinning golden egg with the stacked text "GREAT BRITISH FILMS". The egg stops as we get close to it and the background turns black. The text flashes.
Variant: Early on, the image was darker and all that was seen was the vault handle before it opened.
FX/SFX: Computer animation.
Music/Sounds: Sounds corresponding to the actions.
Availability: Seen on early co-productions with Spice Factory such as Mr. In-Between, Out of Bounds, Anazapta (Black Plague) and Undertaking Betty (Plots with a View). Also seen on George and the Dragon.
