Background

Group M Entertainment was a television production company that was founded in 2005 by advertising company GroupM by Peter Tortorici to sell formats worldwide. It was renamed to Motion Content Group in 2017.

1st Logo (2007-2017)


Visuals: On a black background, there are the words "groupm" sliding in, while the word "entertainment" wipes in. A light shines on the text, and then the logo stops.

Variants:

  • A still version exists.
  • There is a version where the background is white, and the logo is on a box.
  • It sometimes shares the screen with other logos.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None or the end theme of the show.

Availability: The animated version was seen on season 1 of October Road. The still version was seen on many shows, like the first two seasons of Love Island and The Yorkshire Vet, as well as season 2-3 of Chris Tarrant's Extreme Railways.

2nd Logo (2014-2015)

Visuals: On a black background, a yellow line draws in the words "GROUPM ENTERTAINMENT". The text is swallowed up by a yellow line, and then the line wipes in the letters "GME" with a yellow line below, and the words "GROUPM ENTERTAINMENT" is shown below the line. The GroupM logo wipes in, and then the line blinks.

Variant: A still version exists with only the text, and the word "GME" was in yellow.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The end theme of the show.

Availability: Not seen in the UK, as it continues to use the last logo, but can be seen on the company's showreel, as well as Unusually Thicke.
