Logo: On a black background, we see an open purple film clapperboard zoom out from the right, eventually stopping and closing when in full view. A golden HBO logo with "SHOWCASE" below zooms with it. When the text stops, a spotlight shines through it.
Technique: CGI animation.
Music/Sounds: A horn fanfare.
Availability: Rare. Spotted on the Prism Entertainment VHS release of Women In Prison.
2nd Logo (August 21, 1993-June 24, 1995)
