Background

HD Interactive is a Netherlands-based publisher, established in 1995. In several years, it became the largest publisher in the region, and later entered the worldwide market.

1st Logo (1995-2002)

Logo: On a black background, a blue construction with holes (resembling that of a H and a D) comes in rotating and moves to the center, as "interactive" bumps it from the right. A row of blue dots expand under the word, followed by another two dotting both of the "i"s.

Variant: A still version on a gray background exists.

FX/SFX: All the animation effects in the logo.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extremely rare. Can be seen on games distributed by HD in several countries, like Mortyr and Big Scale Racing.

2nd Logo (2002-)

Logo: On a white background, two connected letters "h" and "d" appear via a fire burning effect. Then the text "interactive" in a typewriter font types out below.

Variant: On the demo of Nexus, the logo was made using the Black Sun 3D engine. It fades in blue noise, then shakes and fades-out.

FX/SFX: The burning effects.

Music/Sounds: A quiet fire cracking, followed by loud typewriter sounds.

Availability: More common, but still rare. Can be seen worldwide on Nexus: The Jupiter Incident (engine version on demo), as well as on Xpand Rally and Joint Task Force in corresponding countries. It also appeared on Mechanic Master for the NDS.
