Background
Haiku is a free and open-source operating system serving as a continuation of the former BeOS software. The project is supported by Haiku, Inc., a non-profit organization based in Rochester, New York, United States, founded in 2003 by former project leader Michael Phipps.
Screen (2009-)
Visuals: Over a black background, the white word "HAIKU" is shown with three feathers, in green, orange and yellow, above a gradient bar with seven icons inside squares below. The icons represent an atom, a drive with a magnifier, an expansion card, a drive with a leaf, a processor chip, a folder icon with a gear, and a rocketship. The icons light up with their colors during the boot progress.

Audio: None by default.
Availability: Seen when booting up a PC or virtual machine with a Haiku installation.
