Background

Hammerstone Studios is a film and financing production company, launched in 2018 by Alex Lebovici and Steve Ponce.

1st Logo (September 8, 2018)

Logo: Panning down from space, we see a rocky cliff with the company name in a chalky texture in it. The "O" in "HAMMERSTONE" is a stylized circle, and three lines then draw on the it. In the background, the sun rises.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Only seen on The Public. It also appears on this Deadline article.

2nd Logo (June 9, 2020-)

Logo: Similar concept to the previous logo, except redone in CGI. On a dark blue space background with a shooting star, we pan down to reveal a cliff against a cloudy sky with the stacked company name in a more royal blue different font, the former in Copperplate and the latter in a normal font.

Variants:

  • On Bill and Ted Face the Music, the logo is reversed, transitioning into the film.
  • Sometimes, the logo is still and slowly zooms in.

Technique: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening/closing theme of the movie.

Availability: First seen on trailers for Bill and Ted Face the Music and later appeared on the film itself. It was also seen on the end of Barbarian.
