Background
Harpo Design is the in-house design department of Harpo Studios, providing animations/graphics for several of the studio's productions.
Logo (January 2013-2015)
Visuals: On a white background, the rings from the Harpo Studios logo (in more contrasted colors) are seen laying on the ground. They then rise up and spin around like a gyroscope, forming the logo and also revealing "HARPODESIGN" (in an embozzled Interstate font) and "PRESENTS" below. The logo then zooms in to the opening of the reel.
Variant: An alternate version exists, which is closer in design and animation to the original Harpo Studios logo. It also lacks "PRESENTS".
Technique: CGI created in-house.
Audio: A sequence of quick whooshes, overlaid with the opening music of the reel.
Audio Variant: The alternate version lacks the whooshes.
Availability: Seen on the company's motion graphics reels (all of which are viewable on their Vimeo channel). The alternate version is seen on the 2014 Harpo Design reel.
