Not to be confused with the French home entertainment label of the same name.

Background

Haxan Films is a production company launched by Eduardo Sánchez, Gregg Hale, Daniel Myrick, Robin Cowie and Michael Monello. They are best known for developing and producing The Blair Witch Project

Logo (July 14, 1999-)

Visuals: The stylized letters "h" and "f" are seen on a black background. Towards the bottom left of the letters, there are the words "haxan" and "films" in a skinny stylized font, with a line separating both words. A jitter effect occurs throughout the logo.

Variants:

  • An inverted version exists.
  • The logo is still on most uses.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: None, or the closing theme.

Availability: Appeared on The Blair Witch Project and Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2. It was also seen on the short-lived series FreakyLinks.
