Background

Hemisphere is a US based financing company for franchising films to major studios.

(2010s?-)

Logo: On a blue cloudy background, we fade into a close-up of a shining sky blue ball. As the camera rotates around it, it is revealed to be in a large wall of identical balls, with some in yellow and a lot in different sizes. The camera zooms out, revealing the balls to be forming a rotating hemispherical ball. A light shines on the farthest right side as the company name in a glossy Goudy Old Style font appears on the lower half, slicing off half the shape. A lens reflection extends throughout the screen before the logo fades out.

Variant: On World War Z, the logo is tinted in cyan, like the other studio logos.

Technique: CGI by Michael Wynne.

Music/Sounds: An excerpt of "Remembrance" by Yuri Sazonoff. Otherwise, none or the opening theme of the film.

Availability: Seen on some films of the time.
