Background

Heyday Films Ltd. is a British film production company founded in 1996 by producer David Heyman in London, England, and currently headquartered in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

1st Logo (November 18, 2005-July 11, 2007)

Visuals: Over a black background is "HEYDAY FILMS", with the "F" stylized. Then, a stylized "HF" is drawn, with the "H" and "F" connected. A dark blue circle appears in sync with the drawing "HF".

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: None or the ending theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen only at the end of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

2nd Logo (December 14, 2007-)


Visuals: Over an background of orange clouds, the golden letters of "HEYDAY FILMS" fly and stand in their correct positions. The background clears and words remain for a second.

Variants:

  • An in-credit version appears on Harry Potter films starting with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
  • A short version of this logo exists starting with the words flying in and fades out when the text zooms out.
  • On Paddington, the background turns black and white along with the text and projector lines are being seen.
  • On Paddington 2, the text appears fading in with different clouds fading in after the text then the letters fly away and the clouds zoom in to start the film.
  • On TV shows such as The Long Song, the logo appears on a white background only reading "HEYDAY" either in the same font as the logo or in Futura. Sometimes, the company's full name is used.
  • On The Adventures of Paddington, the logo without "FILMS" is next to StudioCanal, Blue Zoo Animation Studio, Super Prod, Nickelodeon, M6, and Piwi+.

Visuals: On a black/dark blue gradient background, the word "HEYDAY" rises and then lights up in bright gold.

Trivia: This is the first "HEYDAY FILMS" logo to not feature the word "FILMS".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The opening theme of the film or none.

Availability: Debuted on Wonka, and later seen on Apples Never Fall. It is currently unknown if this will replace the previous logo.
