1st Logo (January 22, 2010)

Visuals: On a red background, there is a white line, with the text "HIGHLAND PARK CLASSICS" in white below. This is a spoof of the Sony Pictures Classics logo.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen at the beginning of The S from Hell, a documentary/horror film about the infamous 1965 Screen Gems logo. The documentary can be viewed here.

2nd Logo (January 22, 2010-January 23, 2012)


Visuals: There are two red trapezoids in a yellow background; one on the top, the other on the bottom. The top trapezoid is small, and the bottom trapezoid is big. Both trapezoids move to the middle-right part of the screen and wrap around each other, while the middle-left part of the top trapezoid becoming more slender. A red dot appears between the two trapezoids. The black, uppercase words "HIGHLAND PARK CLASSICS" appear in the lower half of the screen and zoom in.

Trivia: This is an edited version of the 1965 Screen Gems logo.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Eric Siday's jingle for Screen Gems.
