Background

Cognosphere Pte., Ltd., operating under the brand HoYoverse, is the global subsidiary of the Chinese video game company miHoYo, most famous as the developer of the Honkai and Genshin Impact franchises. It was founded in February 2022 and currently has multiple offices in North America (Los Angeles, Montreal) and Asia (Tokyo, Seoul).

Logo (February 2022-)

Visuals: On a black background, there is the word "HOYOVERSE" in a curved contemporary-looking font, mostly in white with a blue/purple circular outline representing the first "O" of the text.

Variants:

  • Games featuring this logo have the build number of the version that is installed on the system at the bottom-left corner.
  • On trailers, the logo is usually superimposed into the opening scene.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Audio Variants: Trailers from the company usually have their music playing along with the logo.

Availability:

  • It originally replaced the former miHoYo logo on international versions of Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. It has appeared on all recent international releases from miHoYo since then, like Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero (which is currently in private beta).
  • It also appears on trailers and promotional videos from the company, including trailers of updates for the aforementioned games.
