Background
Home Theatre Movies was a subsidiary of Los Angeles-based Visual Concepts, Inc. An early independent home video releasing company, they released over 500 cassettes in the VHS and Betamax formats. Some of their product was also issued by Media-Home Entertainment, Inc.
Logo (1978)
Visuals: On a blue background, "A PRESENTATION OF" appears in white. A triangular marquee of lights appears directly below, with "HOME THEATRE" beneath it. To the right of "HOME THEATRE" is "MOVIES", with a stylized M that has its leftmost stem extend beneath "HOME THEATRE".
Technique: A still graphic.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen on a MEDA print of Rod Stewart and Faces in Concert, in lieu of the MEDA logo. May have also appeared on the same company's releases of Yessongs and Volunteer Jam.
