Background

This was Frank Mancuso Jr.'s production company. Mancuso later went on to run 360 Pictures.



1st Logo (October 3, 1987-July 30, 1988)


Visuals: On a white background is a silver-outlined blue sign at an angle. On the sign is the words in silver lettering:

Technique: A still image.

Audio: The closing theme.

Availability: Seen on the first season of Friday the 13th: The Series.

2nd Logo (September 30, 1988-June 17, 1989)


Visuals: There is the same sign from the previous logo, but with a city, a church, and even some houses. The sign then "flashes".

Technique: Appears to be a combo of model work and computer animation.

Audio:

  • Episode 1: The closing theme plays.
  • Rest of the season: A dramatic 9-note tune plays. There is also a ding at the end of the tune.

Availability: Seen on the second season of Friday the 13th: The Series.

3rd Logo (October 7, 1989-May 26, 1990)


Visuals: There is a video of a city, with a sign. The camera pans to the sign, which is revealed to be the Hometown Films sign, done in CGI, and with the text in a thinner font. The sign is straightened here.

Technique: A combo of live-action and CGI.

Audio:

  • Episodes 1-8 of season 3 of Friday the 13th: The Series and season 2 of the War of the Worlds TV series: Same as the last logo.
  • Episodes 9 and 10 of season 3 of Friday the 13th: The Series: 5 flute notes.
  • Rest of season 3 of Friday the 13th: The Series: Same as the second theme, but lower in pitch.

Availability: Seen on the third season of Friday the 13th: The Series and the second season of the 1988 War of the Worlds TV series.
