Revision as of 21:44, 6 June 2023

1st Logo (Wolves, Witches, and Giants variant) (October 9-25, 1995)

Logo: Essentially an in-credit notice with a stylised red "H" overlapping a thin blue "a" as well as a yellow square on a white box with a red outline. "HONEYCOMB ANIMATION" would appear next to the logo.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Rare. Only seen on the first series of Wolves, Witches, and Giants.

2nd Logo (October 7, 1996-2007)

Logo: Similar to the previous logo, it's an in-credit notice where we see "Ha!" in a child handwriting font.

Variants:

  • On Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids, the logo is within a white box and is against the same background as the 1999 Carlton Productions logo, and also appears next to the Elephant Productions logo as well.
  • On Lost in the Show, it's the same as the variant above except with the text "HONEYCOMB ANIMATION" appearing below the logo and appears next to the 2001 Just Entertainment logo and appears against the same Carlton Productions background, and the URL reading "itv.com/citv" which also appears below as well.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Rare. Appears on Wolves, Witches, and Giants starting with series 2, the first 4 series of Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids, Lost in the Snow, Funky Valley and Funky Town.

3rd Logo (Binka variant) (September 4, 2001-2005)

Logo: The same logo from before is now bigger and fades in while accompanied with "HONEYCOMB ANIMATION" as well as a copyright notice underneath.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Binka.

4th Logo (Grizzly Tales For Gruesome Kids variant) (May 21, 2004-November 2, 2012)

Logo: The same text from the 2nd logo is within a wide and curvy pink TV with blue stands. It is also accompanied with the Elephant Productions logo inside and the Grizzly TV logo is above the television set. Unlike the previous logos, the company's name does not appear here.

Variant: On later series of Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids, titled Grizzly Tales at this point, the full-screen logo is now in a 2D, stylised grey TV with two other TV sets underneath, showing the Nicktoons and 2009 ITV Studios Global Entertainment logos respectively.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability:

  • Seen on series 5-8 of Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids.
  • It made its first appearance on the final episode of series 4, while the previous fourteen episodes of series 4 (due to being made during 2002 along with series 3) use the Carlton variant of the 2nd logo.
