Background

Hong Kong Kai Fa Film Co. was a film company from Hong Kong.

Logo (1973, December 14, 1974)

Visuals: On a blue background, there is the filmreel spinning and zooming in. Then it stops and the three lines form from a filmreel. The company name in Chinese and the small English words "HONG KONG KAI FA FILM CO. presents" appear via fading below. Then it fades to the logo in small with the box appearing with two Chinese characters below the logo. Then the words "KAI FA" and "SCOPE" wipe in between the box (looking similar to the CinemaScope logo).

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A triumphant, bombastic fanfare which terminates in a very high note. This fanfare is called "Fanfare B" by Akira Komachi.

Availability: This logo is seen on The Greatest Thai Boxing. The distribution variant was seen on the original trailer of Black Guide.
