Background

Hulascope Studio is an animation studio located in Montreal, Quebec that was founded by children's book author Janet Perlman and film composer Judith Gruber-Stitzer.

1st Logo (2003-2007)


Visuals: On a black background, a cartoon pineapple shakes while spinning around a green hula hoop. Below, the words "hulascope studio" (in the La Bamba font) shake at the same pace.

Variants: On The Nose (2007), the logo has an old film effect to it, as well as a copyright stamp below the name.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A brief 4-note ukulele melody.

Availability: Can be found on Penguins Behind Bars (which only aired once on Adult Swim in 2003), as well as short films from the company such as The Nose.
