Hyperbole Studios is an adventure game studio founded in 1990 by Greg Roach. It specializes in the design of multimedia content and has created its own engine called "VirtualCinema", which allowed the production of several games on CD-ROM. The studio is best known for the video game adaptation of the Fox series The X-Files, released in 1998. The studio is still active today.

1st logo (1993)

Logo: Over a black background, we see a spiral with an arrow piercing through it being revealed (the logo of Hyperbole Studios) from a star shape. After a few seconds, the star shape reveals the logo in dark gray, with the text "HYPERBOLE STUDIOS" in Charlemagne Bold over it.

Technique: Simple transitions.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Only seen on Quantum Gate: The Saga Begins.

2nd Logo (1994)

Logo: Several electric sparks flash in the style of the symbol from the previous logo over a black background. A metallic texture spread covers the logo and gets rid of the sparks. The logo then becomes metallic silver as the stacked text "HYPERBOLE STUDIOS" in a fiery red and in Charlemagne Bold ripples in over the logo. The logo fades out and shines away, leaving only the text before that fades out too.

Technique: Computer animation.

Music/Sounds: A short rock tune.

Availability: Seen on The Vortex: Quantum Gate II and their VirtualCinema promo from 1994.

3rd Logo (June 11, 1998)

Logo: A cyan line with a grid texture swirls around over a black background. A light streak

Music/Sounds:
