Background

The Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation, commonly known as IBC, is a Philippine state broadcaster. The network broadcasts to the Philippines alongside ABS-CBN, Radio Philippines Network, GMA Network, and TV5. It was founded in 1959 when DZTV Ch. 13 started its first broadcasts. Briefly, it was shut down by the Philippine Government under Ferdinand Marcos, but re-opened soon after, when bought by Roberto Benedicto, a crony of Marcos. When the EDSA Revolt ousted Marcos' government, IBC was sequestered for being a part of his crony capitalism. Today, the network ranks generally low.

1st Bumper (1978)

Visuals: The yellow words "IBC 13" morph as two multicolored targets appear. IBC lands on the target to the left and 13 on the one to the right. The slogan "ENJOY YOURSELF" appears beneath it.

Audio: A disco theme where the chorus sings "Enjoy yourself, Channel 13.

2nd Bumper (1980)

Visuals: Five stars zoom in towards the viewer. The golden number 13 zooms out, turns white, disappears, and is replaced by the letters IBC in rainbow

Technique: Either Scanimate or cel.

Audio: A disco theme where the chorus sings "Channel 13, Enjoy Yourself".
