Background

ITV America is one of the largest independent producers of non-scripted programming in North America. It was founded as Granada America in 2003 - bringing together their subsidiaries Granada Entertainment USA and Carlton America under one roof.

Granada America

1st Logo (2003-2004)


Logo: Same as the 2001 Granada Media logo, but "Granada America" appears below.

Technique: Same as the Granada Media logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the Granada Media logo.

Availability: Extremely rare. This was used as a placeholder logo.

2nd Logo (2004-2009)

Logo: Same as the 2004 Granada logo, but "America" appears below.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the "America" variant can be still just like the UK counterpart.
  • A print logo was used on the NDS game Hell's Kitchen (using a white background).
  • A B&W variant exists.

Technique: Same as the Granada logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the Granada logo.

Music/Sounds Variant: Original airings of shows used a generic theme and a voiceover.

Availability: Uncommon. Appeared on shows from the time.

  • It was used as a de-facto logo for Granada Entertainment America's shows, such as on Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and the American adaptation of Eleventh Hour.
  • It also appeared on licensed games, for example Hell's Kitchen for Wii (with the "America" byline).

Logo: Same as the 2020 ITV Studios logo, but the word "AMERICA" is seen in place of the text "STUDIOS". Sometimes, the byline "AN ITV STUDIOS COMPANY" appears below.

Technique: Same as the ITV Studios logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the ITV Studios logo.
