Background

According to Dave Sieg, in 1974, Computer Image Corporation decided to find a larger market to open a facility in Hollywood, California. It borrows heavily from Computer Image Corporation to open Image West.

Logo (1978)

Visuals: Two red semi-circles slide in from the edges of the screen, forming a circle. Then two semi-circles deform as it zooms out. Then another semi-circle from the left spins clockwise. Two red inverted quadrants and a semi-circle spin in sync with the music. The circles form an abstract road. Then the "IMAGE WEST" in a Pump typeface flies in from the top and moves to the top right of an abstract road.

Technique: Scanimate effects.

Audio: A funky disco tune. It was also used at the beginning of the demo reel.

Availability: It can be seen at the end of the 1978 demo reel.
