Background

Incinerator Studios was created in 2006 as an internal development studio of THQ. In 2009, THQ decided to let it be independent as a part of a cost-cutting plan. In 2011, the company was re-organized into the mobile gaming company Playdek.

(June 6, 2006-May 11, 2011)

Logo: On a black background, a black circle with outlines of flames in it zooms out to the middle of the screen, illuminated by red light. The circle then sets itself on fire, and the fire eventually burns away to turn all the black in the circle glowing yellow. The text "INCINERATOR", with "STUDIOS" below it, fades in underneath.

Variant: An early version exists on Cars for Wii, Cars Mater-National Championship for the Wii and PS3, and MX vs. ATV Untamed for the Wii and PS2.

FX/SFX: The circle zooming out and burning.

Music/Sounds: Wind blowing and fire cracking sounds, ending in a dark synth note.

Availability: Seen on all games released from the company.
