Background

Insurge Pictures was a micro-budget division of Paramount Pictures founded in March 2010. On March 23, 2015, Paramount announced the label would be absorbed but still would be used for low-budget projects.

(February 11, 2011-September 9, 2016)

Nicknames: "Insurge Mountain", "White Mountain", "Blue Mountain's Brother", "The Tourist Sees Mount Paramount"

Logo: We see a stick-figure boy in white (first and foremost) zooming back from the screen standing in what is revealed to be a stylized letter "U" (as part of the word "INSURGE"), looking and pointing at what is revealed to be the print Paramountain in black with the signature indentations and semi-circle in white, but with no stars. The semi-circle zooms back to fit in place above, and below is the word "INSURGE" (in which the height of the "U" is noticeably trimmed down below the others) zooms down and back to fit in place below the Paramountain. Vertically aligned next to "INSURGE" is the word "PICTURES", in the FFX Rounded Light font.

Variant: On the web series Burning Love, the logo is static and the colors are inverted.

FX/SFX: The zooming out.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme of the movie.

Music/Sounds Variant: On Brother Nature, the second half of the 2011 Paramount fanfare by Michael Giacchino is used.

Availability: Common. The logo can be found on all of its films, starting with Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. It also appeared on the webseries Burning Love. Its last appearance was on Brother Nature.
