Background

Intercontinental Films was a film production company from Spain.

Logo (October 12, 1950-October 15, 1951)

Visuals: Over a cloudy background, there are 2 globes (the left showing the Americas and the right showing Afro-Eurasia with Australia at the right). The film roll is seen being rolled around the 2 globes, with the middle part having a sans-serif "INTERCONTINENTAL FILMS S.L." inside and the bottom part having "INTERFILMS" in the same typeface. "Presenta" in cursive is below it.

Variant: Later on, the logo was redesigned. The company name now says "INTERCONTINENTAL FILMS", "INTERFILMS" is removed, and the filmstrip is slightly more detailed and thicker with there being less frames within the film roll. The logo shows up either with a small white sans-serif "Presenta a" below or a serif "Una Producción" on top.

Technique: A still printed image.

Audio: Opening theme of the movie.

Availability: The early version was only known to be seen on La Revoltosa, while the later variant appeared in two films: Black Sky and El gran Galeoto.
