1st Logo (1983-1984)
Logo: We start off with a red background, which transitions to a white background via a checkerboard pattern. On the white background, there is an image of a cylinder with magnetic tape running around it to form the letter "i", and under it the word "intermovie" in Antique Olive, as well as "INTERNATIONAL VIDEO PROGRAMMES" in Helvetica and smaller print below it. The red-colored word "PRESENTS", also in Helvetica, fades in below the text.
Trivia: TBA.
Technique: The transition, and the fading in.
Music/Sounds: Three synth notes during the checkerboard transition, with the last one held until the end of the logo, then a much deeper synth note that drones when the logo completes.
Availability: TBA.
