Revision as of 20:40, 30 December 2023 by DogeDestroyer (talk | contribs) (Added the Infobox company for Iron Circus Animation AVID Page. I'm not too sure if I did the stuff correctly as I haven't used a Infobox company yet. And sadly, your going to have to stick with a picture of the on-screen logo as there is no proof of an print logo for Iron Circus Animation rather than the print Logo for Iron Circus Comics.)

Background

Iron Circus Animation is an animation company that was founded as Iron Circus Comics back in 2007, with Lackadaisy as its first webcomic. Iron Circus Comics would create an animation division in early 2023. It didn't have an on-screen logo until the YouTube short film adaptation of Lackadaisy.

Logo (March 29th, 2023-)

Visuals: On a black background with a purple-tinted spotlight, there is a late 19th or early 20th-century tin toy attached to something that may resemble a prop from a circus show. The screen then cuts to another tin toy on a gear-tie, roping on a gear-outline that is floating. Next, there are two pins holding a gear cap going back and forth on top of a little line. Beneath that, there is a gear, which the screen then cuts to a full view of as another gear, similarly zooming in. Two spotlights with the same purple tint shine over the big gear as the words "IRON CIRCUS ANIMATION" in black font with a white outline form over the gear. The gear turns black, forming a white outline, and then stops cranking.

Trivia: The Gear is actually based on the Iron Circus Comics logo. The only difference from the 2007 Iron Circus Comics logo is that the color of the gear was light purple as a print logo.

Variants:

  • A short variant exists where it starts where the gear is already cranking, but the tin toys, 2 pins, and the small gear are omitted by a black circle in the big gear. The logo then plays normally as usual.
  • A 2nd short variant exists where the black circle is omitted, and a website notice is seen below.
  • A in-credit version of the logo exists where it's in an old-brown color.

Technique: Stop-motion.

Audio: The opening theme or silence.

Availability: Seen on Lackadaisy.
