Background
Isambard Productions was a New Zealand film and television production company. It did not use a logo until 1990.
1st Logo (September 15, 1990-1996)
Visuals: On a black background, "ISAMBARD" is in a bright gradient red and done in a font and style resembling ancient languages has part of the left line on both As missing and have dots in the middle instead of a line across it with a rectangular border in the same color. Below is "ISAMBARD PRODUCTIONS LTD" in white.
Variants:
- An in-credit version appeared on The Billy T. James Show where the logo is in a slightly faded red and is larger where it covers the whole screen.
- On More Issues, another in-credit version appeared where the logo is thin, has text that says "(C) Isambard Productions Ltd" in white below and the TVNZ logo with the name and copyright year below in Roman numerals on the bottom.
Technique: A still digital graphic.
Audio: The closing theme or silence.
Availability: Seen on The Adventures of the Black Stallion, The Main Event, The Billy T. James Show, More Issues and the 1st season of Letter to Blanchy along with the films Alex and Cops and Robbers.
2nd Logo (1996-1999)
Visuals: On a royal blue gradient background, a dark blue line with a faded tip comes down from the top of the screen. Halfway, the line extends from both sides with fades tips as well while the intial lines fades away. It forms into a rectangular border while the letters "I", "S", "A", "M", "B", "A", "R", and "D" fade in quick succession to spell out "ISAMBARD" forming the same logo from before where it produces a glow from around the border and all off the letters while also emitting a huge shine around on the top left. "(C) (Year) Isambard" fade in below in the same color as the logo that is molded.
Variant: On Flatmates, it segues to the TV One logo and the copyright disappears.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: The closing theme. Sometimes, there may be a male voiceover.
Availability: Seen on Ethnic Cooking, the failed pilot of Flatmates, and the film Nightmare Man.
