Background

J2TV (or in some cases, J2 Pictures) is the production company of former Malcolm In the Middle star, Justin Berfield, established in 2004. The company name is in reference to his own name, and the "2" being a reference to his character on Malcolm In the Middle, Reese, the second older brother.

1st Logo (August 7-October 9, 2005)

Logo: On the dark blue background, we see the words "J2" and "TV" in blue fly away from the TV set. Then, the words form the logo.

Technique: The letters zooming out, and static to forming the logo.

Music/Sounds: A humming sound with the sound of static.

Availability: Seen on Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive.

2nd Logo (March 14-August 1, 2010)

Logo: On a dark blue background, we see the words "J2" in blue fly away from the screen. Then, a different TV set surrounds the company name and it flashes. The finished product appears with "J2" and "TV" on the left in smaller print, and appear horizontally.

Technique: The letters zooming out, the TV surrounding the name.

Music/Sounds: It begins with the sound of static, followed by an electronic beep and Justin Berfield's voice saying, "J2".

Availability: Seen on the short-lived series Sons of Tuscon.
