Background
Chiba Television Broadcasting Corporation (CTC, callsign JOCL-DTV) is a Japanese television station serving Chiba Prefecture, based in Chiba that signed on May 1, 1971 as the second UHF independent commercial broadcaster in the Kanto region after commencing test broadcasts on January 25th of that year.
