JORX-DTV (TBS Television)

Background

"'JORX-DTV'" is the main callsign of the Japanese TV station "'TBS Television'". TBS is the flagship station of Japan News Network, and was founded on May 17, 1951 as "'Radio Tokyo (KRT)'", launching radio in December 25, 1951 with "'JOKR'" as its callsign, and TV in April 1, 1955 with "'JOKR-TV'" as its callsign. The network changed its name to the current one on November 29, 1960, and changed its TV callsign to "'JORX-TV'" after splitting its radio and TV division.

Visuals: On the first slide, the bottom text says "JOKR-TV ラジオ東京" ("JOKR-TV Radio Tokyo"). On the second slide, there is the text "KRT NETWORK" on a swirl background.
