Background
JWT Syndication was a syndication division of advertising agency J. Walter Thompson. The unit was closed in August of 1982, after a scandal arose involving misreporting of its barter-syndication revenues.
Logo (September 8, 1978-1982?)
Visuals: On a blue background in orange, the curved word "SYNDICATION" in cut-out is written above a huge, curved and stretched "JWT".
Variant: There was also an in-credit "JWT Productions" version, with the same curved and stretched text.
Technique: A still image.
Audio: None; the logo is silent.
Availability: So far, this has only shown up on an old episode of The Comedy Shop. Newer prints of The Comedy Shop apparently have this plastered with the Peter Rodgers Organization logo.
