Background

Jax Media is a film and television production company co-founded by Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, and John Skidmore in 2011. In February 2018, Imagine Entertainment acquired a controlling stake in the company.

1st Logo (April 30, 2013-June 3, 2014)

Visuals: On a white background, there is a red line going left and another going across it, as the text "JAX MEDIA" appears.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: Two synth whooshes.

Availability: Seen on Broad City and Inside Amy Schumer. These can be seen on Comedy Central.

2nd Logo (January 12, 2015-)

Visuals: On a white background, there is the text from before zooming out, being put together which then shines.

Variants:

  • A still version on a black background exists.
  • Sometimes, it shares the screen with other logos.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A synth drone or the end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Eye Candy on MTV, Difficult People on Hulu, Russian Doll on Netflix, Emily in Paris on Netflix, and Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show on Apple TV+, among other shows.
