Background

Jax Media is a film and television production company co-founded by Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, and John Skidmore in 2011. In February 2018, Imagine Entertainment acquired a controlling stake in the company.

1st Logo (April 30, 2013-June 3, 2014)

Nickname: "The Cross"

Logo: On a white background, we see a red line going left and another going across it, as the text "JAX MEDIA" appears.

FX/SFX: The lines going across.

Music/Sounds: Two synth whooshes.

Availability: Seen on Broad City and Inside Amy Schumer.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (January 12, 2015-)

Logo: On a white background, we see the text from before zooming out, putting the pieces together as it then shines.

Variant: On Living with Yourself, the logo shares the screen with the Blitz Bros. logo.

FX/SFX: The logo zooming out and the shining.

Music/Sounds: A synth drone or the end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Eye Candy, Difficult People, Russian Doll, Emily in Paris, and Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show, among other shows. Don't expect this to appear on the company's films, though.

Editor's Note: None.
