Background

This is the television division of Jerry Bruckheimer Films, founded on August 28, 1996.

Logo (November 19, 1998-)


Visuals: It's a sped-up shortened version of the movie logo, except that "TELEVISION" replaces "FILMS".

Variants:

  • In the early days of this logo's usage, the film logo was used.
  • Early episodes of CSI have it either still, cropped, or squeezed to 4:3.

Technique: CGI by Dream Quest Images.

Audio: None, the ending theme of the show or a generic network theme.

Audio Variants:

  • Sometimes, the shortened thunder sounds from the movie logo is heard.
  • On Without a Trace and the 6th episode of season 1 of Cold Case, the thunder sounds continue into the 1999 variant of the 1997 CBS Productions and later the 2006 CBS Paramount Television logos.

Availability:

  • Seen on many shows that Jerry Bruckheimer produces, such as the CSI franchise, Without a Trace, Fire Country and Cold Case, respectively.
