Background

This is the production company of documentary film director and producer, Alex Gibney. The company produces independent films, documentaries and television series. On June 16, 2020, Imagine Entertainment invested in and acquired an ownership stake in the company.

Logo (April 27, 2014-)

Visuals: On a black background, there is the word "jigsaw" but in half sliding in, "jig" has the lower part and "saw" has the upper part. A dot then pops onto the "i" before sliding back down.

Variant: On Janis: Little Girl Blue, the logo scrolls up with other logos in the credits.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The opening/closing theme or silence.

Availability: Can be seen on content produced by them such as Mr. Dynamite: The Rise of James Brown, Janis: Little Girl Blue, Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine, Robin Williams: Come Into My Mind, Cooked, The Looming Tower, Salt Fat Acid Heat, The China Hustle, Crazy Not Insane, and Citizen K, among others. Strangely does not appear on Zero Days despite being credited and involved.

Legacy: It's a rather simple logo overall.
