Background
JoyOn was founded as Gamania Korea as a joint venture of the Taiwanese company Gamania in 1999, running from the remnants of the defunct companies Full Soft and Korea Licensing. In 2001, it changed its name to JoyOn. The company merged with the lottery site Lotototo in 2006, renaming it into JoyToTo and transforming it into an online game portal.
1st Logo (2001-mid/late 2000s)
Visuals: A face with eyelashes appears on a white background smiling. Its eyes then pop out into two wings, green and cyan, and the mouth turns into the text "JOYON" with "ENTERTAINMENT" below. The wings are then shown doing a flying animation. The background then turns black with the beat, inverting the text colors.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: An upbeat rhythm, with popping sounds and a bird call.
Availability: Seen on their games starting with Tazaro Mania.
