Background
Jupiter Pictures was an Indian Tamil-language feature film production company founded in 1934 by M. Somasundaram (popularly known as "Jupiter Somu") and S.K. Mohideen. In the late 40s and early 50s, they operated out of Central Studios in Coimbatore, and eventually, following the closure of the studio, they relocated their studio to Chennai and took over Neptune Studio which would later become Sathya Studios. The company went defunct in 1983.

Logo: Over a sunset landscape, we see on a hill a silhouetted sketch of a woman on a carriage riding two horses with a star sitting on the left side of the woman's head. In front of the sketch is a set of white gothic text that says:

Later on, the text fades into its Tamil translation.

Logo: The logo now takes place on a black background with the sketch of the same woman on a chariot now fully visible. In front of the sketch is the same stacked company name but more thinner and rounded. Similar to the previous logo, the text fades into its Tamil translation.

Availability: It is only seen on Abhimanyu.

Logo: Over a stylized black frame, the same woman on a chariot sketch but with the star now having an outline is shown in a small size and in the middle with the same set of text used in the first logo in front.

Availability: It is only seen on the Telugu film Santosham.
4th Logo (10 January 1959)

Logo: A closeup of a bell swinging in a room of a temple is shown. The camera slowly zooms past underneath the bell, which reveals a stylized doorway inside the temple the camera is slowly zooming into. When the camera gets considerably close to the door, the door opens, revealing a lit-up room containing a live-action silhouetted model of the same woman on a chariot. When the camera stops, the light shifts its direction to the model, revealing more of the model and a table the model is displayed on. Momentarily, the camera pans downwards to reveal more components of the table, which contains a rough cloth with spike-like pattern. Within the table, three sets of text now reading:

Presents
fade in against the table. It segues to the opening credits of the film.
Technique: Live-action.
Music/Sounds: The sound of the bell tonging during the bell sequence, a traditional percussion tune when the doors open, and a brass fanfare when the lights shine on the model.
