Background

KENW, is a Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member television station from to Portales, New Mexico. The station is owned by the Eastern New Mexico University.

1st logo (1974-1975)

Visuals: There is on a sky background with a windmill and a house, the word "kenw" with the word "tv3" in a unique design is in the center of the screen. Below it is the word "PORTALES, N.M".

Technique: None.

Audio: A cheerful triumphant fanfare with drums with an announcer says about KENW's technical information and its first broadcast day.

Availability: Seen on the KENW first broadcast day, which, their 10th Anniversary Special, which can be seen here. It also can be seen on a video announcing their new logo in 2013.
