Background
KFDF-LP was a local television network located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. It was a sister station to KPBI. It was also named Network One at first, and aired a lot of sports, mainly St. Louis Cardinals baseball. Only over the summer of '95 did it become a full-fledged UPN affiliate.
1st ID (Summer 1995)
Visuals: On a starfield with a computer lake landscape, a blue hexagon with a rainbow outline and an orange/red number "32" in it zooms in frame by frame. Some white words with a rainbow word "SPORTS" below fade in, along with the station name below. The logo fades out, and orange/pink gradient text "K32ED" zooms out to the dark sky, with the yellow word "Fort Smith" zooming out to the lake.
Technique: Hand-drawn animation made in TARGA TIPS+, using a Wacom tablet.
Audio: "Upper Me" by Alan Parsons Project and Eric Woolfson, followed by an announcer (Earl Green) saying "Fort Smith's newest local television station. KFDF Sports 32".
2nd ID (1996)
Visuals: On a black background with reflecting moving patterns of the logo, it fades in to reveal itself being a blue & green gradient hexagon with two yellow numbers "32" and "36" and a yellow station name in the center. The UPN logo is shown at top with the white text "UNITED PARAMOUNT NETWORK", and the blue words "K32ED Fort Smith" and "K36ED Fayetteville" with a white dot between are shown below.
Technique: Computer animation made in FRACTINT.
Audio: "Voyager" by Alan Parsons Project, followed by an announcer saying "You're watching KFDF-TV UPN 32, 36. Fort Smith, Fayetteville.".
