Background

Kah Lai Toi (Chinese: 嘉丽台) was a 24-hour Cantonese and Mandarin language subscription channel in Malaysia, exclusive to the Astro satellite provider. It was launched on May 1, 2014 on channel 304 as a replacement for Jia Yu.

On October 1, 2017, the channel ceased transmission.

Visuals: Five violet crescents zoom out and rotate from the screen against a white gradient background. The crescents split and settle to form a flower-like shape, as the letters "嘉丽台" pop in under the logo, along with "KAH LAI TOI" under it. The shine moves round the logo anticlockwise.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A twelve-note piano tune, along with a female voiceover saying "You are watching Kah Lai Toi." at the end.

Audio Variant: There's a variant that omits the voiceover.
