Background

Kang Chak Films was a Cambodian film company from before the Khmer Rouge.

1st Logo (196?-197?)

Logo: On a black background, we see a golden discus spinning (sudarshana chakra, the weapon of the Hindu god Vishnu). Above the discus is the Cambodian name and below it is the text "PRODUCTION KANG CHAK FILMS"

FX/SFX: The spinning discus. Live-action.

Music/Sounds: Current prints have the Shaw Brothers fanfare.

Availability: Extinct. Many films dating from before the Khmer Rouge are considered lost or destroyed. This logo is seen on the 1969 film ជីវិតអភ័ព្វ ភាគ.
