Background

This was Mike Karz's production company. The company is located at Warner Bros. Studios, Burbank, California. It was later renamed to Gulfstream Pictures when Karz joined Bill Bindley for the company.

1st Logo (April 19, 1998-August 24, 2012)

Logo: On a dark blue background, a yellow oval reveals itself with "KARZ" written inside in the background color. The word casts a shadow. The white "ENTERTAINMENT" is seen below.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the oval is silver.
  • A still version exists.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A four-note piano/chime tune, a generic ABC theme, or the ending theme of the TV movie.

Availability: Seen on some TV movies such as Geppetto and Model Behavior.

2nd Logo (September 21, 2007)

Logo: There is a highway with a city skyline at night. Two cars roll towards us with their lights on. The first car roughly turns right, nearly coming into the camera. The second one follows it, and they both vanish, as the silvery letters "K.E.I." (stands for Karz Entertainment Incorporated) appear in the splash.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The opening of the movie.

Availability: Only seen on Good Luck Chuck.
