Background
Kideo Video was formed as a joint venture of Karl-Lorimar Home Video, DiC Animation City and LBS Communications to distribute kids and animated videos. This was a second in a line of Lorimar sublabels, following Scholastic-Lorimar Home Video. DiC would later launch its home video label in 1986 with Golden Book Video.
1st Logo (prototype) (1985-1986)

Technique: None.
Audio: None.
Availability: This is a prototype logo, as it was seen on earlier video releases of M.A.S.K..
2nd Logo (1986-1988?)
Logo: On a white-pink gradient background, eight stripes, colored blue and yellow, come in from both the left and right. "Kideo" then writes itself out in a red cursive font, then "Video" in the same font and color, zooms in as what looks like splotches of confetti pop up.
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen on kids releases of Karl-Lorimar tapes, such as M.A.S.K., The Care Bears, and Inspector Gadget.
